Ola Electric
reclaimed its leadership in India’s electric two-wheeler (E2W) market in January, surpassing TVS Motor and Bajaj Auto.
Ola Electric’s scooter registrations zoomed 64% MoM, reaching 22,656 units in January. Captured market share to 25%. Total E2W registrations increased 24% to 91,264 units, recovering from a 8 months dip in recorded December 2024.
Ola Electric also launched its Gen-3 S1 range (S1 Pro, S1Pro+, S1X+), which targets both mass-market and premium models, for diverse customer needs. TVS Motor saw a 27% increase in registration, with 22,080 units.
Meanwhile, Bajaj Auto’s Chetak registrations grew by under 10%, leading to a drop in its market share to 22.1%. Ola Electric share rising.
